Four Views on Hell

Chris Sprinkle

This book (which releases on March 8, 2016) is a compilation of essays and I’m the editor. I wrote introduction and conclusion, while 4 other scholars wrote essays on their different views on hell.

  • Denny Burk defends the traditional “Eternal Conscious Torment” view
  • John Stackhouse argues for Annihilation or the “Terminal Punishment” view
  • Robin Parry supports “Universal Reconciliation,” often known as “Christian Universalism”
  • Jerrry Walls (a Protestant) defends the purgatory view.

This would be a really good book to read if you are wrestling with the question of hell and want to hear different sides interact.
